You can change each custom-made preset to suit your own project just using the effects controls box. Adjusting the Levels, crop, opacity, lighting effects, Cineon Converter to the left or right that will make the preset lighter or darker. This will enhance the color. Most of the included presets are dark allowing you to achieve a very creative render. Do what you will with them, as you change them you can the save your own settings by just right clicking your mouse in the effects controls box, selecting "All", then right click again them as a group and select "save all", you must name your new custom made preset. You can then build off of that to make another preset!
